Smart Energy Meter Installation - PAN India
Overview:
An
automatic remote meter-reading system based on
GSM is is useful to obtain meter reading when desired so meter readers don’t
need to visit each customer for the consumed energy data collection and to
distribute the bill slips. Microcontroller can be used to monitor and record
the meter readings. In case of a customer defaulter, no need to send a person
of utility to cut-off the customer connection. Utility can cut off and reconnect
the customer connection by short message service (SMS). Furthermore, the
customer can check the status of electricity (load) from anywhere. In this
system energy meter readings are being transferred by making use of GSM
Feautures:
Get automatic reading of Energy
Meter and sent it to consumer as well
as to utility. In reading it measures Voltage,
Load Current, Real power, Reactive
power, Power factor and units consumed. Utility is able to cutoff/restore the supply of the defaulter through SMS. Smart Energy Meter responds to the
SMS and sends you back the readings whenever it is asked. Consumer is able to check the
status of his load from anywhere in the
world by SMS.
Working of Smart Meter:
GSM
communications network is used to transfer the Electricity consumed data to the
utility administration as well as to the customer when demanded. Antenna,
attached on or near meter box, can be used for improvement of signal strength
in GSM communication. Smart
metering communication is centralized meter reading, so meter readers don’t
need to visit each customer for data collection. However, for testing and
maintenance meters may need to observe occasionally. The
main duty of Smart Energy Meter is to measure the meter reading and sends it to
utility when demand as well as to costumer. The voltage and current sensors
measure the RMS values of voltage and current and feed them to microcontroller,
where calculations for active and reactive power are performed. In
Smart Energy Meter we used sensors to measure voltage and current instead of
current and voltage transformers. The reading from Utility administration SMS
is being received by smart energy meter programmable interface and the action
is performed by the meter according to provided information. A
major feature of Smart Energy Meter is that utility company can cut off and
reconnect the connection of energy of any user with the help of SMS without
sending the person to perform the task manually. It can be utilized in case
when the utility company needs to disconnect a consumer due to non-payment of
bills or some other reasons. Another
major feature of Smart energy meter is that it gives alarm when the consumer
load is exceeding the upper limit for which he got the utility connection. In
case consumer does not reduce his load meter automatically cut off the consumer
connection.
Scope of Work:
Dismantle of the existing Single/Third Phase Energy meters and handing
over the same to the XXXXXXX Store
with final reading & receipts. Installation of Electronic KWH Meter Single
Phase Two Wire (10-60A) with Meter
Box and SMC board in place of Single Phase energy meter for existing connections or Installation of Electronic KWH
Meter Single Phase Two Wire (1060 Amp) for new connections. Removal of the existing Service cable and
handing over the same to XXXXXXX Store taking received of return and length /quantity. Installation of 2x4 sq. mm. armored service
cable with Centenary wire and reel insulator in place of old and removed service cable for existing
connection or installation of 2x4
sq. mm. armored service cable with Catenary for new connections.
Following are the details of work that shall
be in scope of the contractor on his own cost:
* Arrangement of transportation of Energy Meters and
Service Cable from XXXXX store
to installation Site for
installation.
* Arrangement of transportation
for shifting all old
removed Single Phase Meters and cable to respective
stores of XXXXXXX.
* Complete data entry in all fields in "Sealing Record
Format" during installation
of energy meter.
* Filling in all the necessary
record in the XXXXX App
loaded in mobile of your technician and submitting the
same on the spot.
* Understanding the Phase and
Neutral connections at
consumer premises and ensuring proper connections of
the new installation with due
checks after electrical
connections as per the
"Installation Process Video".
* All New Installed sites must
meet the requisite safety
standards and shall comply
with the requirements laid
down by the M/s. XXXXX.
* Contractor
shall ensure a close coordination with XXXXX
Engineers during installation and shall honor the
decisions taken by them, in the interest of the business.
* Collect installation completion certificate
from concern
division official. Get MB book entry with coordination of
concern officials for invoice
process.
Commercials:
For the services rendered by the Vendors, they shall be entitled for payment of Rs.200/-
price per meter(Single Phase) and Rs. 240/-(Three Phase) . The aforementioned rates shall remain in force till expiry of the contract
from the date of commencement of the work. Materials provided by company at site. The
rates so fixed are inclusive of all taxes (other
than Service Tax), duties, and levies
etc imposed by the State/Central Government and Local
Bodies as on the date of award of the work. Nothing shall be payable extra
under any circumstances. However, TDS will be deducted as per Income Tax.
Volume:
Single/Double
Meter -> Per District Minim 50,000
to 60,000 Meter.
Billing Cycle:
Vendors
shall issue invoice on every 25th – 30th on monthly
basis. The
Invoice can be raised through e-mail or Fax and followed by hard copy.
Terms of Payment:
80% payment will be released after submission of MCR
along with signature of concerned Section
Officer (AE/JE), and work completion report
from Sub division Officer (AEE) and EE, subject to reconciliation of pervious bill if any. 20% payment will be released after reconciliation of
material.
Payment
Processing:
Payments
to Vendors will be done within 45 days from the verification report Issued by
the designated authority.
Penalty
Delay in Execution of the Work:
The penalty shall be applicable
as per installation
schedule provided by project manager. Failure to deliver the outcome as per the committed volume and
time line shall call penalty and necessary deduction shall be made from your running bills.
Delay in Execution of the Work:
Lost & Damaged and Theft of DTC Meters: Contractor shall pay the cost (Rs. 1000/- for new meter, Rs. 100/- meter length
of cable and Rs. 500/- for each old meter) to M/s XXXXX in case of any loss, Damage and theft etc, after issuing to contractor and
same shall be deducted from his running bills. Contractor shall also lodge FIR with concerned
Police Station and copy of the same shall be provided to
Ms/ XXXXXX.
To Signup Work order:
Ø Signing up with PAN INDIA Company. All state are available.
Ø Security Deposit to the Primary Company/Pan India Company
will be applicable
Ø Business Procurement Fees (Consultancy Charges) shall be
discussed.
Ø After Sign up, the next day live work will be started.
